Forced landscape/ the bottom of the lake. Steel structure cage type / incubator. neumatics, bird food, water, twigs, 6 canaries (breeding birds). Variable dimensions. 2016. LOCAL Contemporary Art.
The space of architecture forces relationships, it compresses and establishes an interconnected system; the routes as well as the construction of relationships are subject to the habitability and the non-continuum development of space and time, but instead circulate as a system that feeds itself.
Rooms act as a resistance chamber for materials, objects, situations and live entities, where inert objects are rendered suspect by the birds and vegetation.
The images in this project, which is currently in progress, merely record an intermediate state of the total body of work, as the “exhibition” will be installed in this space for a period of six months and its constant change and accumulation will propose new readings, from formal aspects such as the graphics of excrement, the sound of the birds, the growth of the vegetation, etc.
